I find no place better to refresh my batteries than heading out into a beach, into the trees or up onto the cliffs with my camera. Not always do I take many pictures, but often just sit and watch. A couple of weeks ago up on the cliffs at Marwick Head was one such occasion- I did lots of watching. This time of the year the cliffs are alive with birds:- Fulmar, guilemot, razorbill, kittewake, and even the odd puffin, with Gulls and Skuas circling overhead and gannet diving in the depths below. So much to see.
