Today I visited Warbeth beach looking for a different view of Hoy. The grey light was not the best for photography, yet the sea still had that beautiful turquoise as the waves broke. So opted to do a mini deconstruction set looking at the nature and textures on the west of the beach.

The more I looked around the small inlet, the more I saw the unnatural colours and textures of plastics. There were 43 pieces, the majority of which were varying lengths of rope, just within the small area I was photographing.
And yes I collected them up for disposal. Sadly this is a never ending need these days as the sea brings in more with every tide.
